The ship was wrecked in a storm. Only two men were able to swim to a small island, which didn't have any water and grass. They were rescued. The two survivors thought they cannot do anything so, they decided to pray.
To see which prayer should be heard, each of them went to the different side of island to pray. First, they asked for food from God.
The day after that, the first man found a fruit tree. But the second man didn't find anything to eat. A few days later, the first man asked for a wife. A day after that, another ship wracked, a woman was rescued and came to the first man. But the second man had no one.
The first man, asked God for dresses and house. Next day, all his wishes were prepared miraculously
. But the second man still didn't have anything.
Finally, the first man asked for a ship to take him and his wife. A day after that, the ship docked. The first man wanted to go with his wife and leave the second man on the spot. He said by himself, for sure he (the second man) did not deserve God blessing because his requests were not met, then it is better to leave him here.
The time ship was moving, a voice came from heaven: '' why do you leave your fellow traveller on the island?''
He said: '' the blessings that I have gained are all mine. All was my request. His request was not accepted, so he does not deserve these things.
The voice blamed him: ''you are wrong... when I have heard him, these blessings came to you.''
Man asked with astonishment: what he asked that I should owe him?!
The voice replied: ''he asked me to answers all your wishes!
